Emirates, the largest airline in the United Arab Emirate, is set to resume its daily operations on the Dubai – Nigeria route starting from December 5, 2021.

The airline has said it will provide travelers from Nigeria access to Dubai and will operate on a daily basis, knowing that Dubai remains a highly popular holiday and business destination for Nigerians.

The airline will have its operation in Abuja with EK 785 departing Dubai at 1100hrs and arriving Abuja at 1540hrs with EK 786 as return flight, taking off from Abuja at 1900hrs, and arriving Dubai at 0435hrs the next day.

However, the airline has mandated the Covid-19 PCR tests for all travelers irrespective of their country of origin, noting that passengers coming from Nigeria are to present their negative COVID-19 PCR test certificate taken not more 72 hours (3 days) before their departure date.

The airline stated that the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has specifically provided laboratories for travellers to obtain their PCR test certificate before departing the country, adding that Nigerian passengers would take another Covid-19 test on arrival at Dubai International Airport.
