From 2024 onwards, passengers flying from Rome Airport into the city will be able to go airborne for their ride.

Aeriporti di Roma (AdR)’s CEO, Marco Troncone, expressed that a journey in one of the crafts which takes off and lands vertically, will take around 15 minutes compared to 45 minutes or more by car.

He added that the connection will be very swift and it will be a silent journey with zero level emissions.

The initial cost of a ride will be pegged around 15 Euros ($175), a price that is likely to drop as the service goes mainstream.
