As a response to increase in fuel price, French Prime Minister, Jean Castex has announced that the government will be giving a grant of €100 to households living on less than €2000 per month.

Fuel price has risen in France, leaving motorists struggling to keep their vehicles on the road and public anger has been growing among citizens contending with the dual challenge of recovering from COVID-19 pandemic and paying increasing fuel cost.
