Tunde Bakare, a Nigerian pastor Serving as Overseer of the Citadel Global Community Church formerly known as The Latter Rain Assembly, earlier today purchased the N100 million Presidential nomination form of the All Progressives Congress (APC)

According to a statement, the clergy would officially declare his presidential ambition on Monday, May 9, 2022, at the Shehu Musa Yar’Adua Centre, in Abuja.

Having served as a leader in the civic space as Convener of the Save Nigeria Group, and also as a South-West Delegate to the National Conference, Pastor Bakare has expressed an intention to take a step further in the service of his beloved country and its citizen, by running for the Office of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

He was Vice-Presidential candidate to Muhammadu Buhari during the 2011 elections on the platform of the Congress for Progressive Change but they lost the election. He further restated his commitment to harnessing his local and international networks as well as platforms and resources towards
the emergence of a New Nigeria.

Tunde Bakare is the fourth Presidential aspirant from Ogun State to declare interest in the presidency after Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, former Governor, Ibikunle Amosun, and former House of Representatives Speaker, Dimeji Bankole.
