A total of six Nigerian airlines have formed an alliance tagged the ‘Spring Alliance’, in a bid to mutually support one another’s operations and to improve service delivery for clients.
The airlines include Air Peace, United Airline, Max hair, Azman Air, Aero Contractors and Arik Air signed the alliance on Tuesday, March 8, 2022.
Speaking at the ceremony, the Chairman, Air Peace, and Vice-president of the Airline Operators of Nigeria (AON), Allen Onyema, both expressed that the Alliance would favour passengers who board any of the six airlines.
Onyema further stated that the initiative to form the alliance was a revolution in Nigeria’s aviation sector, he also urged other airlines to tap into the benefits offered by the alliance by joining.
Similarly, the Managing Director, Aero Contractors, Capt. Abdullahi Mahmood noted that the formation of the Spring Alliance was a historic move, which prioritises the satisfaction of the passenger.
