Africa’s third largest city, Ibadan, will tomorrow 31st August, host dignitaries from different walks of life as the widely acclaimed international celebrity magazine, The Podium, is set to launch in the cosmopolitan city.

The Podium magazine which, celebrates Nigerian professionals and icons who are impacting the globe will be unveiled by its publisher, Demola Akinbola, at the prestigious Le Ville Évent Centre, Eleyele, Ibadan by 10:00 a m.

The unveiling of the magazine will also feature a business talk on ‘The Role of Effective Communication in Career and Business Success’ to be presented by respected communication scholar, Media Personality and Board Member at BOOM Television, Femi Ipadeola.

The Podium magazine commenced operations in 2019 with an online edition (www.thepodiummedia.com). The print edition made its debut in 2021 in the United States and it is currently being actively distributed in Houston, Dallas, New York, New Jersey, Maryland, and Indianapolis.

Making its first appearance in Nigeria, The Podium magazine was unveiled in Lagos on 7th June, 2022.

On June 18th, The Podium moved to Europe’s most cosmopolitan city as it officially unveiled in the city of London in the United Kingdom.

The mission, according to the publisher, Demola Akinbola, is to celebrate Nigerian professionals, business managers, and entrepreneurs with legitimate means of livelihood. “We are focused on identifying and serenading the good and exemplary deeds of Nigerians at home and abroad” Akinbola added.

He further stated that The Podium International Magazine is a platform created to promote Nigeria and Nigerians in a way that will add value to those concerned and the country in general.

The global magazine is irrevocably committed to pioneering a cultural revolution under which outstanding feats of honest and diligent Nigerians will be showcased for posterity.

It is also noteworthy that the magazine will be presented in Manchester, United Kingdom on September 23rd, South Africa on October 1st, and Canada in November, 2022.
