The US reopens its borders from today to fully vaccinated international travellers after nearly 20 months.
It would be recalled that BOOM Television reported an announcement by the US government on September 20 that the nation’s borders were about to be reopened. Since then, intending travellers from all over the world have been making preparations towards their planned trips to the US.
Booking for US-bound flights have jumped by 2,200% as travellers are eager to reunite with family and friends.
The lifting of travel ban comes as a great relief not only to travellers but also to businesses as malls, restaurants and Main Street shops have been devastated largely due to lack of visitors. Hotel prices in New York and some other major cities are also returning to normal levels after the long pandemic break.
