The Central Bank of Nigeria has revealed the list of the ten exporters that earn $10.88 million in a month from non-oil goods.

According to the CBN’s monthly economic report, the goods of the exporters are mainly agricultural produce such as bean, cocoa, cashew nuts, amongst others.

The figures obtained from the Central Bank indicated that Olam Nigeria Limited is at the top of the ranking with an aggregate of 17.1 percent amongst other exporters. The non-oil exporting company which exports cocoa bean, cashew nuts, and sesame seeds to countries like China and Turkey topped the list with a value of $26.65 million.

Also in the report, CBN disclosed that Starlink Global and Ideal Limited, which is the second non-oil exporter in the breakdown with a value of $16.49m and 10.6 per cent as an aggregate exports agricultural produce such as cashew nuts, cocoa bean, sesame, and shea butter majorly to Malaysia.

In the same vein, the report indicated that the third exporter is the British American Tobacco Nigeria Limited at $12.57m with 8.0 per cent as the aggregate.

The exporting company majors in exporting cigarettes to countries like Ghana, Cote d’ivoire, Guinea, Cameroon, Gambia, as well as Liberia and Niger Republic.

The report added that with the value of $9.82 million at 6.3 per cent, Eleme Fertilizer and Chemicals Limited which took the fourth position exports urea, fertilizers and agronomy services to Turkey and China.

The fifth position according to the breakdown was occupied by Tulip Cocoa Processing Limited with an aggregate of 4.9 percent at $7.66 million. The company which is a subsidiary of Theobroma is a leading independent trader and marketer of Cocoa.

According to the report, the last six companies are Mamuda Industries (Nig) Limited, Metal Recycling Industries Limited, AAK Nigeria Oils and Fats Limited, Armajaro Nigeria Limited and Valency Agro Nigeria Limited with the value and aggregate of $7.21m, at 4.6 per cent, $6.66m at 4.3 per cent, $5.73m at 3.7 per cent, $5.0m at 3.2 per cent, and $3.07m at 2.0 per cent respectively.

In the report, these non-oil companies are interested in exporting products like cocoa beans, dry pure prime pressed cocoa butter, vegetable oils and fats, as well as aluminum, and leather to countries like Malaysia, India, United States, Saudi Arabia, other Asians and Middle East Countries.
