Nigeria’s ruling party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), has postponed indefinitely the screening of its presidential aspirants scheduled to hold today Monday, May 23.

In a statement released by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, a new date for the screening exercise would be made public by the party shortly.

Morka expressed that the party regrets any inconveniences caused by the new development.

It has been reported that no fewer than 25 presidential aspirants will be screened by the APC Presidential Screening Committee. The candidates listed for the presidential ticket includes Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, Former Lagos State Governor, Bola Tinubu, and ex-Minister of Transportation, Mr Rotimi Ameachi, among others.
