Following the mass sack of about 900 employees by Better.com’s CEO, Vishal Garg, three of the company’s top communications executives have turned in their resignation.

Reports have it that Tanya Gillogley, Public Relations Manager, Melanie Hahn, Public Relations Manager, and Patrick Lenihan, VP of Comunications have all resigned from their posts.

In the previous week, the company had laid off 900 of its staff, which apparently led to the resignation of the communications executives.

However, in a letter addressed to the Better.com team on December 7, Garg apologized for his approach towards the layoffs, making a difficult situation worse.

Garg acknowledged that he failed to show appropriate amount of respect and appreciation for the individuals who were affected for their contributions to the mortgage company, he added that he embarrassed them by not communicating the executions appropriately.

Hahn joined the Better.com in 2018 according to his LinkedIn page while Gillogley joined in January 2019 and Lenihan in November 2020.
