Cable News Network (CNN) has confirmed plans to launch a news and entertainment streaming service, named CNN+, within the next three months.
The report has it that the streaming service, CNN+, will come at an initial discounted subscription price of $2.99 per month.
According to the report, CNN will offer the promotional price to those who sign up within the first four weeks before reverting to $5.99 once the deal ends.
CNN has reportedly invested $120 million and recruited top talents for the new service, including Fox News veteran Chris Wallace, former NPR “All Things Considered” co-host Audie Cornish and Alison Roman, an Instagram personality and author of a popular cooking newsletter.
However, CNN disclosed that the CNN+ will feature live daily news programming, original series, true crime shows, and food and travel, Reuters quotes CNN.
