Amazon has launched a new local selling option for customers who might not be patient enough for the arrival of their package by mail.
The new shipping option is a suite of service that allows businesses who sell products to offer in-store pickup and fast delivery to shoppers who live near their physical retail stores.
On eligible items,shoppers will be able to select in-store pickup when placing their order, then retrieve their package the same day at no extra cost.
For local delivery, sellers will use their own trucks and vans to transport items to shoppers’ doorsteps.
