Vinfast, a Vietnam – based automobile manufacturing company has unveiled a pair of electric SUVs which it plans to start selling by next year.
Vinfast however, plans to sell its electric vehicles only in the United States because that is where the company sees its largest opportunity for growth. Recently, the company unveiled its US headquarters located in Los Angeles.
Vinfast is facing increased competition from companies like Rivian and Lucid , and most importantly, Tesla.
To understand consumer behaviour in US market and Europe, Vinfast poached executives, engineers and designers from different places around the world.
Vinfast however, has no immediate plans to enter China which is one of the largest automobile markets in the world.
