A firm in Israel has announced the launch of its latest breakthrough, a saliva pregnancy test. The first of its kind, the test delivers rapid results from saliva samples.
The firm, which goes by the name Salignostics, disclosed that clinical trials have been successfully completed on more than 300 women, both pregnant and non-pregnant and the company awaits approval from America’s Food and Drug Administration and European Union’s CE Mark.
Scientific experts have expressed that saliva is key to rapid diagnostics for variety of medical uses.
