Despite a global pandemic that left huge negative impact on many sectors, the cannabis industry gave a strong showing at its biggest trade show ever, recently held in the city of Las Vegas.

The industry’s sale is on a pace to hit $26 billion this year and is projected to leap to $45.9 billion by 2025.

Indeed, the Cannabis industry got a pandemic era boost from customers and sales have continued to increase at record pace in markets across the world, particularly in the US.

The boost in sales in the US should be expected as majority of Americans live in a state where some form of cannabis is legalised. A Report by the National Conference of State Legislatures revealed that more than two-thirds of US states have legalized medical cannabis while 18 states have legalized it for recreational use.
