In a bid to efficiently set up a 5G mobile service in the country, the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has commenced training, sensitisation and collaborations with stakeholders in the communications industry.

Professor Umar Danbatta, Executive Vice Chairman of the NCC, made this known while providing answers to some questions during a webinar tagged “Unlocking 5G Potential in Africa”.

Danbatta disclosed further that the sensitisation and trainings precede the 5G spectrum auction billed to hold on December 13 in Abuja.

He stated further that the commission is extending its range of beneficiaries to those who can impart knowledge to others as the commission is determined to keep educating people about the utility of the 5G network.
