A Redeemed Christian Church of God parish, City of David, situated in Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria has launched a dating website to connect unmarried Christian folks just as the church said there is no marriage in heaven.
The website was created after the parish pastor, Idowu Iluyomade, charged the single members of the church to connect for the purpose of making decisions on life partners.
In a statement on the dating site, participants were advised to carry out their due diligence before connecting with other participants.
Intending participants must register and have their details processed before approval, no fee is attached to the platform’s accessibility.
The disclaimer on the website states “every registrant must conduct his or her own independent background checks before connecting with another registrant on this platform. The Redeemed Christian Church of God, City of David Parish, makes no representation or warranties and expressly disclaims any and all liability concerning any damages sustained by any registrant as a result of connecting with anyone on this platform”.
